I’ve been really happy with these meals. After work I just heat one up and dinner’s basically done, which saves me so much messing around on busy nights. They taste good too, and I like that the emails/receipts are easy to keep track of so I always know what I’ve ordered.

I was happy with this, honestly. The food arrived with really good expiry dates, so there was plenty of time to use everything up, which is exactly what you want, isn’t it?

The minimum order was actually shown clearly before checkout, so there wasn’t any weird surprise at the end. I just added one extra meal, and the delivery came through fine. Happy with the experience overall.

I was actually surprised by how well these meals fit in my freezer. I’ve stacked them next to frozen veggies, under ice cream tubs, beside leftover soup containers, and even squeezed a few between pizza boxes, and they still stayed organized. The labels are easy enough to read, so I’m not digging around forever trying to figure out what’s what, like chicken, pasta, rice bowls, or whatever I grabbed for the week. My only small complaint is that I wish a few of the boxes were flatter because some take up more space than they need to. But overall, they’re super handy for busy nights when I don’t feel like cooking, meal planning, chopping, cleaning pans, or doing any of that.

I’ve ordered from cookfood a few times now, and yeah, I’d say it’s been worth the money. It’s not the cheapest option out there, to be fair, but the quality’s good and it makes dinner so much easier. One item was missing from my cookfood order when it arrived, which was a bit annoying at first. I contacted customer service and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly they got back to me. The person I dealt with was friendly and sorted out a refund without making it feel like a hassle. I’m giving 4 stars because I did still have to chase it up, but overall it was handled well and I’d be happy to order again.

Most of the meals are a decent size and usually fill me up just fine, so they’re convenient for quick dinners. I actually really like how COOK lays out the nutrition stuff. It’s just there, easy to see, not buried somewhere weird or made confusing for no reason. Calories, ingredients, portions... all the bits I usually want to check before ordering. It just makes picking meals feel less like I’m guessing, which, is a small thing but also kind of a big one.

I’ve ordered from Cook a few times now, one of the things that makes me feel really good about it is the sustainability side. The food is lovely, but I also appreciate that the packaging is mostly easy to recycle, and because the meals are frozen, I’m not ending the week with sad bits of veg in the fridge that I feel guilty throwing away.

It’s not absolutely perfect, of course, but it does feel like they genuinely care and are making a real effort, rather than just saying the right things. That makes a big difference to me, and it’s one of the reasons I keep coming back.
